Sancie was my late father's cousin (Charles C. Lundgren). His mom, my Grandmother, was Sanchia Doorly-Lundgren. Sancie corresponded with me and others on the Geneology boards sorting out our family tree. Great person, sorry for your loss. Chris in CT.

Many years ago I worked at Chimes Market in Norton Hill. The market is long gone but I remember Sancie coming in the store always with a smile, kind words and encouragement to me learning the register. She had a light about her that came from the beautiful soul within. And what a great couple the two of you together. I was blessed to have known her.

My deepest sympathy goes out to my dear friend Doug whom I've known since junior high school. Sancie was one of those lovely people who had a genuine concern for the well-being of others. Always friendly, caring, and sincere, she was a pleasure to know and to be with. She will always be fondly remembered and missed. Rest in peace dear Sancie. Love Bob.

I will miss my cousin, Sancie. She was always so nice to me. We spent many hours when I was young playing “Stratego”! She even took me to my first concert. We had so many laughs together. I am heartbroken. May God Bless her. Rest In Peace.

Dearest Sancie was "my go-to" at the Durham Museum while I was working on research for my current manuscript about a womens' society in Cornwallville. She patiently dug through papers, articles, pictures and maps and was a trove of information which helped tremendously. I loved spending time in the back room, talking local history, especially about Cornwallville. I will miss those talks and always think of Sancie fondly and with much respect. My sincerest condolences to Doug. The Durham Museum never had a more devoted curator than Sancie. God Bless, Pamela De Leon
