Ah, what can I say about Harry Yeomans. Harry is the father of my 'brother from another mother' Kenny Yeomans. I have known this family since I was 6 years old and they all are very, very dear to me. They are part of my family. I grew up with them.
Harry was simply a wonderful person though he would always try to buy my old Winchester rifle by telling me he'd do me a 'favor' and give me $50 for it.... If you know Harry, then you know his love for Winchester lever guns.
Harry was actually a dear friend of my late mother since they were kids. She told me once when they were young they were driving down a road and saw a tom turkey a ways ahead so they stopped the car. Harry got his .22 pistol from the back of the car and though the turkey was quite a ways away, Harry shot at it anyway, hitting it right in the head killing it instantly. My mom was very impressed with his marksmanship.
Now Harry was always one to spin up a good yarn and years later I related that story to Harry and he told me that my mom was so impressed with the shot that he didn't have the heart to tell her it was just luck.
I miss you Harry. Thanks for being such a wonderful person.

I have nothing but fond memories of the Yeomans Family. As a child growing up in Norton Hill my life was cars. Where did you go to see and be around them, Yeomans Garage. Junior always had time to talk to me about cars. From the stock car that as a 10 year old boy I was allowed to sit in. Cheering them on at Clearview Speedway in Westerlo. Seeing the first Corvette in their showroom in 1953. Junior, Thank you and your family for allowing a boy to dream. Rest in Peace.
