From Joann Boyink
My sentimental nature brought more tears. She made a difference in oh so many lives in such quiet ways, living out what it means to be a humble, genuine and loving person--what each of us is called to be........ Joann

Still can't believe that Rae is gone. Talked to her on the phone earlier this Spring, was going to get together but that did not happen. I am so glad I went to the wake and funeral, so many people paid tribute to her. She was very talented, I have four gifts from her, made by her, so each time I look at them, I'll be remembering her! Knowing she is resting in the arms of our Lord.

Dear Marvin
Les and I were so shocked to hear of Ralene's passing. We've been away for the last 4 weeks and just found out yesterday.
I want you to know how much we thought of Ralene and her courage in the face of her health issues. I never heard her complain once and she always seemed to have a smile for everyone.
I can't begin to know how much she will be missed by you and her family and how much she was loved by all who knew her.
Our deepest sympathy to you and your family.
Love
Les and Patsy

Marv,
For many years I called her Mom because she kept me in line. I truly enjoyed going to Vermont and Arizona on vacation with you. I remember the time we told her that we were going to look for rattle snakes. She said that when we got together we were just like little boys. My lunch dates at work were priceless boy could I get her laughing. She helped me through some tough times in my life and never judged me. It was truly a pleasure to have known and had such a friend as Mom. The Smith family is and always will be my second family. Rest in Peace Mom I love you.

Mom,
A daughter could not ask for a better role model than you. The silent strength you had especially over these past 10+ years was amazing. You never complained. You just tackled each challenge and hurdle with courage and grace. Wyatt and I are proud to call you Grammy and mom. Every time we use a quilt that you made for us we know we are being wrapped in your love. We will miss you so much, but there is some comfort in knowing you are not suffering anymore and that we will see you again.
Love you mom

Ralene and I worked together ~12 years for a venture business in GE Plastics. Ralene was hard working, passionate, persistent and instrumental in helping new plant start-up and tough period during initial business development stage. The venture later turned out to be a very successful addition to GE's Plastics product portfolio. Ralene was very good at embroidery. I was so fortunate of owning one piece of her masterful work. Rest in peace and you will always be in our hearts.

I fell in love with you the first time we met and I loved you more than life itself. Your passing has left a hole in my heart that can never be filled. You were a wonderful loving mother, grandma and wife and now your pain has ended. I know you are in Heaven so save a place for me by your side when we will be together again so we can share our 50th wedding anniversary.
Your Loving Husband

Marv, I'm so sorry to hear of Ralene's passing, but happy to know she's in a much better place and that her long suffering is over. I have so missed her smiling face, in my recent years at GE Plastics, now Sabic. She was always there with a kind word and a common sense wisdom - a good friend.
