OAK HILL – Martin L. Dratz, 86, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Albany Medical Center Hospital after a brief illness.

Marty is survived by his wife of 62 years, Gloria Mae Jansen Dratz; son and daughter-in-law, Karl L. and Diane C. Dratz; brother, Dr. Arthur F. Dratz; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Balthazar M. and Katarina Mess Dratz; siblings, Dr. Henry M. Dratz, Herbert J. Dratz and Katherine Mahne Ebbert.

Keeping with Marty's wishes, he has been cremated privately. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service next Saturday, November 14 at 1 p.m., at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Cairo. The family will receive friends at the church from 12 noon to 1 p.m., prior to the service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
