Dear Buddy and Layman Family,
Our deepest sympathy on the passing of Barbara. She was an inspiration to all of us. She loved church, teaching, community service and most of all, her family. She seemed to never rest at helping people. She is with the Lord now. We will miss her very much.

Barbara will be remembered for her bright welcoming smile as well as her sense of humor. My teaching years at Greenville were supported by Barbara's positive attitude. I have often stated that I could never have attempted the programming for our special needs students without Barbara's unwavering dedication. Barbara's friendship and the laughs we shared will always be golden memories. My sympathy goes out to all the family at this time . She was one of the best!

Barbra would always have a bag of Halloween goodies for my little brother and I. She would always be stopping by our house chatting, because she only lived about three miles away from our house. The last time we (Lucas and Darlene) visited Barbra, her cat "Simba" stayed by her side the whole time. Also in that last visit, Barbra let me pick some flowers out of her flower bed. I came in with three flowers in my hand. Barbra told me "Oh honey, you can get more that that, make it look like a bouquet, at least three more would be good..." So I came in with four more flowers "There you go!" She said as I sat on the stool she let me pull over to "Be in the conversation." What a nice lady! Forever missed Barbra A. Soldner R.I.P

Mom/Grandma/"Grammer"/"Grandmama was the matriarch of our family. We will miss going over to see her, having holidays at her warm and happy house, her "Yes, [name], it's Grandma" voicemails, her applesauce presents, and her cheerful conversation.
We all love you!!!
She will be our Mom/Grammer/Grandmama forever! <3 <3 <3 <3

Dear Family of Barbara,
Barbara was a lovely caring woman who was always ready to lend a hand when needed. Our families have known each other for many years and I have wonderful memories of times we've spent together. We are all better people for knowing Barbara. Barbara touched so many lives through her family, her work and the many charitable groups she devoted her time to support. She will be deeply missed but her legacy lives on through her children and wonderful grandchildren. I am sorry I could not attend the service in person. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear family,
I was so very sad to hear about Barbara's passing. I was away and not able to attend her wake or service. She was a wonderful person. She used to come into my classroom for flag day to share her knowledge with the students. She was always so kind and patient with them. What a special, giving person she was. I'm feel so lucky to have known her. I will miss her smile and sweet nature.
Fondly,
Deirdre Dalton

Can't agree with Sadie. I was in Bellahouston Park for the whole Mass and I think that it was very reverent and well-conducted. By the way, I nolmlray attend Mass in the EF on Sundays so I am no raving, No Latin, here nutter and definitely not someone who thinks that good hymn-writing only started in the 1960s. I was only too pleased to sing Soul of My Saviour and Hail Redeemer, King Divine . Bring on much more of that please. But I thought the other music was also good. And the Pope's homily was excellent.
