SCHENECTADY – Rafe R. Wickham, age 51, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at his residence after a long illness. Born in Catskill on January 12, 1962, he was raised and educated in Scotia. He resided in Cleveland, Ohio for some time. Rafe enjoyed spending summers in East Durham with his grandparents, Henry and Grace Clapper. He was employed as a carpenter with Local 370 out of Albany. Rafe loved life and lived it to the fullest. Rafe is survived by his wife, Donna J. Davis Wickham; children, Philip Bowman, Michelle Wickham, Autumn Wickham and Elizabeth Palutti; grand-daughter, Samiyah Clark; parents, Robert Wickham and Jackie Graves; step-mother, Nina Miller; siblings, Sherrylyn Grace Wickham, Scott Wickham and Gina Wickham; several nieces and nephews; and close friends, Mark and Kimberly Reynolds. Calling hours will be Saturday from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, NY 12083. A brief service will be conducted at 12:45 p.m., followed by burial in Greenville Cemetery.
