To Ed's Family,
I am so sorry for this loss. Ed was a mentor to me in Real Estate and at another company where we worked together. He always had his red pen ready and his attention to detail was amazing. What a gentleman and kindhearted person he was. I was surprised to learn of his passing and I am just so sorry.

I was so sorry to learn of Ed’s passing. I was a classmate at Greenville Central, and my parents and I enjoyed many fine meals at Reds restaurant while Ed owned it. Ed was always very pleasant and courteous and a good friend. Rest eternal grant him o Lord,May light perpetual shine upon him.

I am very sorry to read of Ed's passing. As a kid on Potic Mountain in Catskill, we always ate at Red's. At one time my late father and grandfather both worked in the kitchen at Red's as the fishmongers after our restaurant, The Embassy in Leeds, closed. My stepfather was the beer and beverage salesman from G T Britt's in West Athens in the late 1970s, and we were always treated like royalty whenever we dined at Red's by the Barbers and their staff. Ed's devotion to civic service was second to none. May he rest in Peace.

Bella and I, both high school classmates of Ed, were sorry to hear of his death. We both have eaten a number of times at Red's Restaurant that Ed and Cathy owned and operated. Ed has surely left his mark in the Greene County area as testified to by the comments in his obituary. Our prayers go out to Cathy and associated family and friends. Rest in peace Ed.
