Thank you to all who often sent Mom Holiday cards or just notes to say hello and wishing her happy days and restful nights. The family pictures at Christmas were especially fun to look at how the kids were all getting bigger. Aunt Terry always sent such kind notes that would arrive just when Mom needed a lift. :)
We read them all together and when I wasn't sure who sent these notes, she would explain how you were friends and the memories she had with you too! Usually, when I read her your addresses she would smile and chat about where that was Upstate. We kept your notes in her bedside drawer so we could look through them on sunny days. Thank you again as this was a special time for both of us!

I had the pleasure of knowing Marion for many years when she lived in Durham. She was a wonderful lady who has left her gentle kindness with many.

The quilting community in the Catskill Mountains shares your loss. Marion was a founding member of of the Piecemakers of Cairo and a 1998 inductee into the Catskill Mountain Quilters Hall of Fame. She was well respected and well loved and leaves many fond memories. We wish her family finds peace. Sincerely, Patricia Clark, CMQHOF President.

Wonderful woman. She was like a second mother to me during those awkward adolescent years.
Great memories...hanging out with all the Farrenkopf kids. Learning to dance in their basement. Marion was all energy and smiles. She was a positive influence on many lives, and that influence lives on in her family. Condolences to all. From Bill Becker.
