I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I remember her being such a sweet woman when I used to go to your house. I know how hard it is to lose your mom, just remember all the happy times you shared -- it does help a little. You are all in my thoughts & prayers at this sad time.

Sincere sympathy on the passing of your mother. I have fond memories from McNutt Avenue of visiting with your Mom, and of each of you growing up. In particular, Mary Jean and her prekindergarden group and babysitting, and of course Bonnie, who was Diane's best friend when they were young. (Remember Romper Room?) I have photos of Beth playing in our backyard with Keith and Diane. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. May God comfort and bless you all.

Jean we will surely miss you. Every trip to New Jersey meant a visit to see you. You always welcomed us and made us feel at home. We enjoyed every moment of our visits and especially shopping and playing cards with you. You always seem to get the better hands and wins. And who could forget the wine. You were like a mother to us and thank you so much for your compassionate nature and concern for all our extended families. Ed will never forget the trips to the Catskills Gane Farms with you and uncle Frank and all the kids for Oscar Mayer cookouts. All our love. Ed,Nancy, Edward and Kathy

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family. We dearly recall Mary Jean & Walt's wedding at the Wentink home. It was such a beautiful day, and the setting, at the house was gorgeous. We have very fond memories of that day, and of Mary Jean's Mom. May she rest in peace.

My most memorable times was going swimming at the pond at their house and Mrs Wentink always would worry about us Abate kids because we didn't know how to swim. She was a wonderful woman and will be missed.

Aunt Jean, I have so many great memories of you that I will always cherish and keep in my heart.. I remember when I would come up and spend the summer with Grandma, she would bring me to your house and we would spend the week (usually July 4th) with you, Uncle Frank and the whole family.. I will never forget those summers.. Some of the best from my childhood.. I loved when you, Patsy and Eileen would come visit grandma in Florida.. We would stay up talking and playing cards till late at night.. So many memories that will be with me ALWAYS... I love you Aunt Jean.. Give my Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Frank a hug for me..
