Obituary of Mary Lou Fox

Mary Lou Fox, 85 years of Delmar, NY, formerly of Greenville, NY, passed away On Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012 in St Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY. She was born in Hamiltion, OH. on Oct. 19, 1926, daughter of the late John and Margaret (Spangenberger) McCormick. Mary Lou was in the Cadet Nursing Corp during WWII & became a Registered Nurse working at the Huntington Hospital in Huntington, NY. She was a member of the Greenville-Norton Hill UM Church and the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society, the Greenville Quilters and a Tuesday afternoon Bridge Player. Mary Lou was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by her many friends. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother, John McCormick. Surviving is her husband, Jack L. Fox of Delmar, NY, her daughter, Jamilynn Fox, her five grandchildren, Michael Fox (Krystle), Jennifer, Emily, Olivia and Jaydon Fox and two great grandchildren, Kylie and Matthew. As to her wishes Mary Lou was cremated and a Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012 at 7 PM at the Greenville-Norton Hill UM Church in Norton Hill, NY.
