The pain of losing someone you love is something that we will never get use to because God's Word refers to death as 'the last enemy.' May your family draw comfort as I have from knowing that our loving heavenly Father promises us that very soon, he will use his only-begotten son Jesus to bring our enemy 'to nothing.' (1Corinthians 15:26) What a wonderful day that will be!

I was working as a nurses assistant at Huntington Hospital and Mary Lou was my charge nurse. She kept pushing me to go to nursing school. I never had much self confidence and told her I'd never be able to cut it much less afford it. One night, Mary Lou brought in a piece from our local newspaper. The town of Huntington was offering a nursing school scholarship for a select few for writing an essay of why they wanted to be a nurse. She asked me to just please write the essay. Well, I did, received a scholarship, and was on my way to a wonderful career in nursing Thank you Mary Lou for having the confidence in me when I didn't. Forever grateful!
