I am SO SORRY I can't attend your Dad's memorial service today. I had planned on coming, but life has a way of changing these plans. You were there for me when my parents passed away and it meant so much to see you there. I will be there in spirit if not in body today. I don't know what else to say, but then there are times when there are no words. This is that time - a time of prayerful contemplation and quiet solitude expressing gratitude to a wonderful person for leaving behind a wonderful son whom I have the honor of calling friend.
