Obituary of Rose M. Klob
ENGLEWOOD, FL - Rose M. (Flach) Klob, age 101, went to be with our Lord on Friday, May 6, 2011 at Tidewell Hospice House in Englewood. Rose was born in Basil, Switzerland on August 4, 1909, daughter of the late Karl and Anna Lammli Flach. Rose came to America in 1912 when she was 3 years old. She met and married Fredrick Klob and had five children, Fredrick Klob Jr. (Lois), the late Paul Klob (Loretta), the late Rose Klob, Martha Markel (Clarence) and Mary Marshall (David). Rose has 14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, making a five-generation family. Rose was one of eight children. One sister, Elizabeth Harris, and one brother, Fred Flack, survive Rose. She was predeceased by Anna Lessmueller, Louise Seaburg, Ida Plass, Charles and Joseph Flach.
Rose was a member of Alcove Full Gospel Church in New York and attended West Coast Church in Florida. Rose worked hard all her life and loved the Lord with all her heart, and this was evident to all who knew her. She was a blessing to everyone she met, and was always giving to others, never thinking of herself. She leaves behind family and friends who will miss her greatly. Our only comfort is that we know she is with our Lord and that her treasures in heaven will be great. We thank the Lord for giving her to us.
