Nurse Sutton saved my life when I was born on January 1, 1940. I was premature and Nurse Sutton gave me love and attention. I was in an incubator and Nurses Sutton, Clapper and my mother Nurse Nellie Miller would take me from the incubator and give me love. They did this so frequently that I was not blinded by the excessive oxygen given at the time and I did not suffer many of the other difficulties that other premature babies encountered at birth and later in life.
