Obituary of Kenneth G. Wood, Jr.

NORTON HILL – Kenneth G. Wood, Jr., 57, passed away on Saturday April 20, 2019 surrounded by his family at Albany Medical Center. He was born on April 26, 1961 in Cobleskill to Lillian Garner Wood and the late Kenneth G. Wood, Sr. He was raised in Preston Hollow and after graduating from Middleburg Central School, he first worked as a farm hand, then worked at KB Construction, Durham Concrete in Preston Hollow, and finally as a mason for Flach Industries, Inc. in Feura Bush. Ken enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping. He especially loved going boating on the Hudson with his friends and fishing for stripers.

Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife, Corrine LiVecchi Wood; his children, Scott and Cory Wood; his mother, Lillian Wood; his brothers, Keith (Krista), Alvin (Valerie), and James (Tammy) Wood; and many nieces and nephews.

Kenneth has been privately cremated and a celebration of life will take place at a later date. Condolences can be posted at ajcunninghamfh.com.
