My condolences to the Sweeney family, so sorry for your loss. There was no finer friend and mentor I could have had as a young man. Jack taught me how to do auto body repair, plumbing and heating, play pool, go-kart racing, and many other skills. He paved the way for my 35 year career at GE plastics and SABIC. Jack was witty, smart, honest and fun to be around.
Thank you for all the great memories that will live on in our minds for years to come. Rest in peace Jack.

Deepest sympathy and condolences to Jack's family, I am saddened to hear of Jack’s passing, we had a lot of good times together. I can never stop visualizing him with the cigar in his mouth ( I never saw him smoke). We spent many days working together at GE and at Highland Rd. We had many good times going to Rick’s basketball games, working on cars and numerous other things. He was a friend and although we haven’t been in touch as much in the last few years he has frequently been in my thoughts. I will miss him. I am presently in Florida, but hope to be able to say goodbye to him in the spring

Uncle Jack always brought a smile to my face. He had a great sense of humor and knew how to make people laugh. I will miss seeing him during my visits to Massachusetts. He was a good man. My thoughts are with all of you during this challenging time.

Jack and I shared many happy times together at pool tournaments throughout the Northeast.., he was fun loving and always had a story to tell.., one that comes to mind was the 120 pound weakling that went to Alaska.., he lived up there in the Bush for quite some time raising sled dogs.., came back a husky “guy”.., but Jack’s version the was much funnier.., God bless you Jack!

Traveled to many pool rooms and tournaments with Jack when I was very young, and he always looked after me while making me laugh. A good man. May his soul be eternal.

Without a doubt my favorite uncle. Spent a lot of time with him and will remember all those fun times. We worked together, fished, camped, told jokes around the camp fire, went to pool tournaments, just visited each other at time, etc. All good and fond cherished memories. RIP AJ, your in a better place.
