Obituary of Deborah M. Hulbert

PRESTON HOLLOW – Deborah M. Hulbert, 57, passed away on Tuesday January 15, 2019 at Albany Medical Center. She was born in Catskill on September 30, 1961 to Bonnie Cook Bates and the late Philip Bates. She was raised in Potter Hollow and graduated from Greenville High School. Deborah worked various jobs, including at Stiefels and at Combined Life Insurance Company. She resided in Preston Hollow, where she enjoyed crafts, such as sewing and crocheting, and caring for her many plants. Deborah loved animals, especially her dogs and cats. She would often donate to the ASPCA and to the Schoharie Animal Shelter.

            Deborah is survived by her beloved husband, Gary Wood; her mother, Bonnie Bates; her sister-in-law, Holly (Hans) Wood; her brothers-in-law, Jeff and Albert Wood; her father-in-law, Walt Wood; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

            Deborah has been privately cremated. Calling hours will be held on Saturday January 26th from 1 to 4pm at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville.
