Obituary of Thaddeus J. Pryor

GREENVILLE - Thaddeus (Ted) Pryor, born August 21, 1946 in the Bronx, NY, passed peacefully into eternal glory with his Savior on January 6, 2019. He is predeceased by his parents, James Pryor and Mary (Canning) Pryor, and his brother Michael. Ted's other siblings are Jim Pryor (Marsha) in Hawaii, Jeanne Shea (Bob) from Oneonta, NY and Geraldine Carter (Jodi) from Monroe, Ct. Ted attended the first graduating class of St. Raymond's High School, where he was captain of the varsity basketball team. Ted and his wife Joanne Cioffi-Pryor lived for 20 years in Yonkers, NY before moving up to Durham, NY upon retirement in late 2014, along with Joanne's daughter Nadine Culhane. They are related to Susan and Tom Cunningham, also from the Bronx, who have resided in South Westerlo for the past 35 years. Ted and Joanne are members of the First Baptist Church of Westerlo, where they celebrate their spiritual life with many new friends. Ted was privately cremated, and a memorial service at FBCW will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ALS Regional Center, 19 Warehouse Row, Albany, NY 12205.
