Obituary of Patrick J. Logue

Patrick J Logue Sr, age 84, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Albany Medical Center, after a brief illness. He was surrounded by family members as he was called home to the Lord.

Born in Tyrone, Northern Ireland, Patrick emigrated to America in 1958. He was a lifelong New Yorker, spending the last 30 years of his life in his beloved East Durham making many lifelong friendships and memories. As proud as he was over his Irish roots, he was equally proud when he became an American citizen in 1991. He is survived by his wife, Catherine, his children Patrick Martin (Amy), Margaret (Brent), Kathleen (Robert), Gerard (Dorothy Jean), and Kevin (Nancy). He is predeceased by his son Deacon Patrick Joseph (Christine). He was also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Michael, Gabriella, Meghan, Gannon, Zachary and Jessie.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday November 29th from 3 to 6pm at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, with a funeral service to commence at 5pm. Interment will be at Winston Cemetery in East Durham on Friday, November 30th at 11am. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Patrick’s name to the American Heart Association.
