Obituary of Thomas F. Brennan

EARLTON – Thomas Francis "Tom" Brennan, 82, was called to Heaven on Monday, October 15, 2018. Tom was born in Montclair, NJ on January 11, 1936 to Gladys (Wilson) Brennan and Thomas (Bud) Brennan. The family moved to Earlton when Tom was a child and here he remained for the rest of his days. Tom graduated from Greenville Central School. He served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Pusan, Korea. Tom retired from AT&T after 34 years of service. During his lifetime, Tom was an active member in various organizations. He was best known as the owner of Brennan's Schoolhouse Inn, established in 1971. Tom is survived by his wife of 60 years, Evelyn Foster Brennan; two children, Pamela (Michael Dolacky) and Thomas Brennan Jr.; grandchildren, Erin (James Donato) and Andrew Brennan; great-granddaughter, Angelia Donato; loving sister, Catherine (Edward Barber); and his beloved cousin, Dorothy Richardson. Tom was predeceased by two grandsons, Michael P. Dolacky and Thomas M. Brennan. Relatives and friends are invited to call at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, on Wednesday, October 17 from 3 to 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, October 18 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 80 Mansion Street, Coxsackie, followed by burial with military honors in St. Mary's Cemetery, Coxsackie.
