Obituary of Walter J. Sledzianowski

MIDDLEBURGH – Walter J. Sledzianowski, 67, passed away suddenly at home on Friday September 14, 2018. He was born on July 17, 1951 in Newburgh to the late Frank and Mary Staples Sledzianowski. His family moved to Norton Hill, where he attended Greenville High School. After high school, Walter was self employed as a carpenter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising Hell, playing Texas Holdem, and spending time with his family. He lived life to the fullest and lived it the way he wanted to. Walter is survived by his children, Brenda (Gordon) Caldwell, Zack Schubert, and Shannon Humphrey; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Frank Sledzianowski Jr., Peggy Lynch, Fred (Rose) Sledzianowski, Bernice Jordan, and Debbie (David) Lackie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Calling hours will be held on Friday September 21st from 2 to 4pm at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, with a memorial service to follow at 4pm.
