Alex was my oldest first cousin. My dad, who was Alex's uncle, used to take him fishing when he was a kid. My dad was very fond of his nephew; I think they did many things together. I'll always remember that Alex and Ella came to my parents' 60th and 65th wedding anniversary parties in Brentwood. I remember Dad's delight when he saw Alex.
