Obituary of Regina M. Peck
FREEHOLD β Regina M. Peck, 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday August 19, 2018 at the Livingston Hills Nursing Home. She was born on March 30, 1925 in Brooklyn to the late Martin and Catherine Zorichak Linz. Regina was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Church in Greenville and had served in the Rosary Altar Society and as a Eucharistic Minister. She was also a member of the Greenville Golden Years, the Cairo Golden Age, and the Hilltown Senior Citizens. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husbands, Joseph Powazi and Robert Peck; and her cousin, Mary Knowles.
Regina is survived by her son, Joseph (Evelyn) Powazi; her grandchildren, Kristen (Leo) Klemke and Joseph Powazi; her cousins that she had raised, Anthony (Rosemarie) Buttner, Michael Buttner, and Therese (Al) Will; and many dear family members and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Friday August 24th from 4 to 8pm at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday August 25th at 11am at St. John the Baptist Church, 4987 State Route 81, Greenville, followed by burial in Greenville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. John the Baptist Church, PO Box 340, Greenville, NY 12083. Condolences can be posted at ajcunninghamfh.com.
