Obituary of Robert V. Zuraw

DURHAM – Robert V. Zuraw, 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday July 19, 2018, joining his wife, Rosie (of more than sixty years) in Heaven. He was surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Yonkers to the late Vladimir and Mary Zuraw. Bob was an outdoor enthusiast and an avid artist. He could always be found enjoying the sunshine in his garden or porch. He loved spending time with his seven grandchildren. The love of the Lord our God was evident in his everyday life. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Marie Casagrande Zuraw in 2015.

            He is survived by his daughters, Diane (Robert) Distelcamp, Sharon (Ben) Pierson, and Barbara (Jim) Devlin; his grandchildren, Rob (Sonia) Distelcamp, Kate Distelcamp, Eric, Steven, and Laura Pierson, and Daniel and Elizabeth Devlin.

            Calling hours will be held on Sunday July 22nd from 2 to 4pm at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday July 23rd at 9:30am at the Resurrection Lutheran Church, 186 Main St. Cairo, followed by burial at Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville at 1:30pm.
