Obituary of Ronald E. Winnie

CLIMAX – Ronald E. Winnie, 66, passed away at home on Friday June 22, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 28, 1952 in Catskill to the late Donald and Nota Irving Winnie. He was a life long resident of New Baltimore, having graduated from Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk High School. He started working at Oldcastle Precast in 1971 and retired from there as a Maintenance Manager. Ronald loved to drag race and fix cars and enjoyed going to Fox Woods and Atlantic City to the casinos. He enjoyed being home and working around the house, and he especially loved and enjoyed spending time with his family. Ronald is survived by his wife, Shirley Deyo Winnie; his children, Angela (Todd) Croote, Mandy (Ryan) Winnie-Allen, and Jake (Sheena) Winnie; his grandchildren, Emma, Rylee, and Isaac; his siblings, Joan (Bob) Bernol and Donald (Marianne) Winnie; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Friday June 29th from 11am to 1pm at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, followed by a memorial service at 1pm.
