Obituary of Shirley Ann Masterson

FEURA BUSH – Shirley Ann Masterson, 69, passed away on Tuesday May 15, 2018 at St. Peter's Hospital. She was born on May 7, 1949 in Stamford, NY to the late Donald and Vernice Brown Jackson. She was raised in Westerlo and graduated from B-K-W School. Shirley married her high school sweetheart, Christopher Masterson, and was a stay at home mom before becoming an auditor for NYS Taxation and Finance. After retiring from the state, Shirley devoted her time to family and friends. She loved coffee, cigarettes and gossip, and was a Mets fan. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Christopher, on December 30, 2013. Shirley is survived by her children, Donna (Don) Haller, Michael (Tina) Masterson, Robert Masterson, Kimberly (Scott) Thompson, and James Masterson; her grandchildren, Amanda Masterson, Michael Masterson, Jr., Harold Lee, and Abigail Peters; her two great-grandchildren; her siblings, Jennifer (Jim) Krom, Terry Jackson, Bub Jackson, Linda (Mike) Kukla, and Anna Jackson; and many nieces and nephews.
