Paul D. Molloy PRESTON HOLLOW – Paul D. Molloy, 61, passed away suddenly on Tuesday morning, May 8, 2018 at St. Peter's Hospital. Born on August 25, 1956 in Yonkers, he was raised and educated there. At age 18, he moved up to his uncle's cabin in Broome Center. Paul worked as a logger and had his own sawmill business for many years. He currently was self-employed as an electrician. He built several spec houses, and built the home his family currently lives in, and the one before that. Paul was a Little League and ice hockey coach when his son was young. He enjoyed camping and the outdoors, and was a devoted family man. Paul is survived by his wife of 41 years, Valerie Peterson Molloy; his children, Erin and Curtis Molloy; his grand-daughters, Brooke, Malaika, Moriah, and Michaela; his mother, Marjorie Morrison Molloy; his brother, Kyle (Jean) Molloy; sisters and brother-in-law, Kris Higgins, Rebecca Peterson, and John Peterson. Paul was predeceased by his father, William "Bill" Molloy, and two brothers, William "Butch" Molloy, and Stan Molloy. Private cremation has been performed, and a family celebration of his life will take place at a later date. Condolences may be posted at ajcunninghamfh.com.
