Obituary of Theodore S. Hunt

Theodore S. "Ted" Hunt, 80 years, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. (formerly of Greenville) passed away on Wed., Oct. 20, 2010. Ted was born in Norton Hill on Dec. 1, 1929 to Ray and Phyllis Hunt. He has been a longtime resident of South Florida. Ted worked at Shepard's Farm in South Westerlo and since 1988 for Kraeer Funeral Home. He was always able to comfort people with his ability to strike up a conversation with anyone. He made friends everywhere he went and will be missed by all who knew him. Ted was predeceased by his dear wife, Leona M. Hunt; two sisters, Geraldine Lockwood and Doris Vadney; one brother, Charles Hunt. Ted is survived by his sister, Gladys M. O'Keeffe; nieces and nephews, Donna (Wayne) Jennings, Bonnie (Steven) Begyn, Tom (Margie) Vadney, Eileen DeSalvo, Charles Hunt and Bruce (Tammy) Hunt, as well as several other loving family members and friends. A service celebrating Ted's life was held at Christ Church United Methodist in Fort Lauderdale. Another will be held on Saturday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m. at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 SR 81, Greenville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 PM. As to his wishes he will be cremated and interred with his wife Leona in the Greenville Cemetery.
