Sherley and Family,
I was away visiting my daughter and family in Virginia when I learned of Roger's passing. I was so saddened to learn of it. Roger was indeed a pillar of the community and to his family. My husband, Bob, thought the world of Roger. I'm sure Bob was there welcoming Roger to his heavenly home.
You are all in my prayers at this sad time. May God comfort you.

Dear Hannay Family,
When I heard the news of Roger entering Heaven to be with his Savior I was deeply sadden and yet hopeful. Sadden that Roger is no longer here on earth with us. Yet, hopeful because we know we will one day see him again.
Roger was such an encouragement, example, friend and deep source of wisdom for so many of us. I would often just call and talk to him about what is happening in my life or ministry and he always took the time to talk. His love for his family, for people, his community, the military family and love for camps and ministry is an example to all. Roger's work ethic and passion for excellence was contagious and highly sought after. He will be so greatly missed by so many.
On behalf of my personal family and the Word of Life Family, we are so sorry for your loss and know we are praying regularly for you.
We love you and pray daily for you.
Roger Peace

Our condolences to the entire Hannay family -- many CEN Manufacturing members have reached out to express how much Roger meant to them personally and to the organization over the years. He was a proud American carrying forth a proud family tradition in your community, and we know that will continue with Eric at the helm as well as with Scott and others involved in the business.
I recall the first time I met Roger and visited Hannay Reels many, many years ago. He proudly toured me through the building in which he had assembled a museum to his ancestors that founded the company – pointing out the history and evolution of the business – and he was a bit wistful in the area where he paid tribute to his Vietnam War brothers. He pointed out the airstrip and shared with me how that pivot helped them grow the business, and then we toured the plant during which he proudly shared how far the company had come. I will always respect his honesty and integrity – you always knew where you stood.
Sincerely,
Louise Aitcheson

I am so saddened to hear of the passing of my classmate, Roger. I always looked forward to seeing the two of you at our class reunions. 2019 will be our 60th and he will be missed.
I do not know if Roger was sick at the time of his passing or if he died suddenly. Either way, it is difficult, really difficult to lose a loved one. Wish I could take the pain away.
Sending hugs and love your way. Take care, I care.
