Obituary of Florence E. Tiberia

CLIFTON PARK - Florence Pagano Tiberia, 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 1, 2017. Florence was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Giovannia Pagano. She graduated from Coeymans High School and worked for many years at Golden Krust Bakery and Fashion Bug in Delmar. She was the devoted wife of Joseph R. Tiberia, with whom she shared 29 years until his passing in 1984. Florence was happiest caring for her home and family. She enjoyed many years babysitting her grandchildren. She loved baking and preparing large dinners for her family and friends. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church, Ravena, and a former member of the church choir. Florence is survived by her son, Donald (Valerie) Tiberia of Newtown Square, PA, daughter Deanna Tiberia (Matthew) Stephenson of Clifton Park, and daughter-in-law, Claudia Tiberia of Glenmont; as well as her loving grandchildren, Christian Tiberia, Olivia and Aidan Stephenson. Florence was predeceased by her loving son, Joseph R. Tiberia, and an infant son; her brothers, Pasquale (killed in action World War II), Bert, Dominick, James, and Thomas Pagano; and her sisters, Betty Petramale, Rose Pagano, Mary Varcasia and Lucy Bonafide. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and friends. Calling hours will be Saturday, September 9, from 9-11am at St. Patrick's Church, 21 Main Street, Ravena followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Burial will follow immediately at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Coeymans.
