Obituary of Gail Marie Healy

GREENVILLE – Gail M. Healy, 71, passed away on Wednesday June 14, 2017 at Albany Medical Center. She was born on December 9, 1945 in Nassau, NY to the late Joseph and Ruth Miller Kruger. She was raised in South Floral Park, LI, and worked as a school bus driver until 1988, when she moved to East Springfield, NY. There she owned an operated Larry and Gails Otsego Motel with her life companion, Larry Zwiazek. They retired in1999 and then moved to Greenville. Gail was a parishioner member of St. Thomas Church in Cherry Valley, and then of St. John the Baptist Church in Greenville. Gail was very creative with crafts and loved to sew, and make dolls and beaded angels. She enjoyed gardening in her flower beds, driving around, and most of all: spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Gail is predeceased by her first husband, Robert J. Healy; her son, John Joseph Healy; and her sister, Patricia McCue. Gail is survived by her husband, Larry Zwiazek; her daughter, Robin Healy (Ron) Bridger; her grandchildren, Matthew Robert and Rose Marie Bridger; and her mother-in-law, Helen Zwiazek. Calling hours will be held on Saturday June 17th and Sunday June 18th from 4 to 7pm at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, NY 12083. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday June 19th at 11am at St. John the Baptist Church, 4987 State Route 81, Greenville, followed by burial in Greenville Cemetery.
