Phyllis was an amazing person, never slowed down, always being helpful. She especially was a good friend to my mom Evelyn Provan and very supportive when we kept her at home during the last days and weeks of her illness in 2011. She will be missed every Sunday at our church.

While it is indeed sad that you are mourning the loss of your dear Phyllis, it saddens God more. In the days ahead, you will continue to reflect on her seemingly small, yet precious memories. This is occurs especially when we experience the loss of someone loved. However, take confidence in knowing that just as you have memories, almighty God remembers too. The difference is, God can and will restore perfect life to those in His memory as explained in the video link** Please accept my condolences during this time of distress.

Phyllis will always be remembered fondly. She was one of the first people we met when we moved to Greenville. Her smile entered the room before she did. I am so glad that we were fortunate enough to see her recently at the American Legion ( where I learned that she had turned 90 in December). She NEVER seemed to age. She was a very active part of this community and helped so many people that needed her kindness and expertise. She will be sorely missed by all. Rest in Peace, my friend.

We knew Phyllis for a short period of time. But, in that time we met a kind, caring, wonderful woman. She was the first person to greet us at Christ Episcopal Church. She was a person who served her community and we are blessed to have known her. she made the world a better place. Godspeed.

My granddaughters and I only jad the pleasure of getting to know Phyllis since we moved to Greenville last June. But in this short time we became very attached to her. She was always a smiling face at church along with where ever we happened to meet. We were blessed to know her even if it was for such a short time .
