Obituary of Stephen R. DeLaunay

EARLTON - Stephen Richard DeLaunay "Bub", passed away on March 10, 2017. He was born on July 16, 1991 in Albany. Bub is the beloved son of Lana and Albert DeLaunay and brother of Sara, Falynn, Katrina, Frances, Danielle (sisters) and Sean (brother). He is the grandson of Robert and Lorraine Weaver. Stephen was a free spirited, kind soul who lived life without limits. A young man, who loved hiking, which included the Mountains of Catskill and many other exotic places. Anywhere there was an adventure he was there. He was someone that anyone could count on; no matter what it was he was there for everyone. Stephen graduated from Greenville Central School and attended Columbia Greene Community College. Stephen brought with him in life a sense of joy and happiness and was always able to find humor when things were down. He was a great son and brother and will be missed greatly by everyone who knew him and a greater loss to those who never knew him. His new journey begins and we are sure he will bring joy and happiness and humor to everyone he meets along his way! Calling hours will be held on Friday March 17th from 4 to 6pm at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, followed by a memorial service at 6pm. In lieu of flowers please donate to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
