Obituary of Barbara Arlene Gilleran

Barbara Frisbie-Gilleran, age 77, of Greenville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 9, 2017, surrounded by her family. Barbara was the daughter of the late Frederick and Arlene Zindell and the loving wife of Michael Gilleran. She is survived by her husband Mike, children Michael, Christine, Mark and Daniel, and stepchildren Kim, Tracey, Julie and Sean. She is survived by six siblings Tom, Paul, Fay, John, Mark and MaryJane. Her brother Frederick Jr. predeceased her. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren. Barbara was a loving mother and worked as a kindergarten teacher at St. Patrick's School in Bedford, NY until retiring to Greenville. She was a wonderful woman and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Calling hours will be Tuesday, March 14, from 4 to 7 p.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville. Funeral Mass will be offered Wednesday, March 15 at 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, 4987 State Route 81, Greenville.
