I knew both Dottie and Skip, but was unable to attend the funeral or wake. They enriched whoever's path they crossed. Now Dottie is hand and hand with her Skip once again, and Shield14 can once again smile. God bless you all.

I'm writing this on behalf of my father Lenny, who was so deeply saddened to hear the news of Dottie's passing....
I've known Dottie for many years now...from her days running the Flea Market in Preston Hollow to the present day location in Livingstonville... A friendship quickly grew between myself her and Skip and continued to grow stronger thru the years.... I considered her a close personal friend and enjoyed our time talking at the field, going out to dinner, attending social functions and outings, and having her come to my families bi-annual Clam Bake at my house and property in Cornwallville, where we shared our mutual admiration and love of shell fish... She was always such an open, caring, and engaging friend and anyone that met her, quickly came to the same conclusion. I wish I could attend the service for her on Saturday but unfortunately my recent hip surgery prevents me from travel at this time. Although my heart is saddened from losing such a wonderful person and friend much too early... I am at peace knowing she is in heaven with her beloved Skip, and they are resuming their adventures again together....
Rest in peace dear Dottie...you are loved and missed....xoxo

Heartfelt condolence to family & friends ...she was our wonderful neighbor and through years of Christmas pageants, summer visits, eating at the restaurant, bear sightings, visiting her antique shop and waving hello, I will greatly miss her warm laugh and smile!
