Was very happy to know this gentleman. I was his neighbor for many years. He always had a smile and kind word. I had the pleasure of working for him and was saddened to hear of his passing. My condolences to the family.

We were neighbors of Nick. His wife Aurora and Nick were very kind people. We all were involved in keeping the dump away from our road, it brought us all closer together. My husbands family owned the house we lived in for over 69yrs. We moved closer to Albany because we have a special needs son, but always thought about Nick. I know he is happy to be with his wife again. God bless all of you during this sad time. Always remember the good times you all had together, memories are never forgotten. The Stapf Family

My deepest condolences are extended to Nick's family. Over the past few years my weekly visits with him will be something I will always remember and treasure. He was such an interesting man. His independent nature and deep faith will always serve as such a profound example to us all.

We have many wonderful memories of spending time with Uncle Nick. We enjoyed his many stories and his generous nature and hospitality. We always enjoyed our visits with him when we were in the area.
He was a kind and loving man, and we are happy that he is reunited with Lola.
