Obituary of Michael Ramse

GILBOA – Michael Ramse, 55, passed away on Tuesday December 20, 2016 at Cobleskill Regional Hospital. He was born on September 13, 1961 to Edna Brandow Ramse in Westchester, NY. He graduated from Gilboa-Conesville CSD in 1979. Mike did many things. He worked on the Case Family Farm and is consider by Gary Case as a brother and Rob Case as an uncle. Mike was a bus driver for Gilboa-Conesville CSD, was a volunteer firefighter for the Conesville Fire Department. He was firefighter of the year in 1994, and finally he worked on the Conesville Highway Department. Mike gave so much of himself and asked nothing in return. He would drop everything to help out a friend. He never realized how much he was thought of by friends and acquaintances. Mike is survived by his son Michael Maxwell; his grandson Mason Bentley Maxwell; his life partner, Vicki Kauth; and his half sister, Lois Kohler. He is predeceased by his mother and his brother, Gary Beers. Rest in peace and never forget "IT". A celebration of Mike's life will be held at the Conesville Fire House on 990V 1/4/2017 from 12 pm to 4 pm please bring your special memories of Mike to share.
