Obituary of Vincent Carlo Manna

GREENVILLE – Vincent Carlo Manna, Jr., 60, died suddenly on Saturday August 13, 2016 as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born on December 10, 1955 in Catskill to Vincent C. Manna, Sr. and Mary Jane Stedman Rizzi. Vincent was a proud veteran of the United States Army, the National Guard, and the Navy, where he received several commendations. He worked as a corrections officer at the Coxsackie Correctional Facility for 32 years. In addition to his parents, Vincent is survived by his loving wife, Melissa V. Manna; his son, Vincent C. Manna III; his stepson, Thomas Payton; his beloved granddaughter, Madison, who loved her "Peepop"; his siblings, Colette Stark, Greg Manna, Carla Manna, Jeanine Rizzi (Randy Rote), Kathleen (Paul) Yost, Patricia Rizzi, William (Kathleen) Rizzi Jr, Robin Rizzi; his several nieces and nephews; and his many beloved brothers and sisters in the motorcycle community. Vincent was predeceased by his brother, Steven Rizzi, and his stepfather, William Rizzi, who he lovingly called "Pops". Calling hours will be held on Friday August 19th from 4 to 8pm at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville. A funeral service will be held on Saturday August 20th at 12:30pm at the funeral home.
