Obituary of Marie O. Bryan

WESTERLO – Marie O. Bryan, 75, passed away on Friday July 1, 2016 at St. Peter's Hospital. She was born in Catskill on March 10, 1941 to the late Le Roy J. and Olive Clickman Fancher. Marie was a lifelong resident of Westerlo, having graduated from Berne Knox Westerlo Schools. She worked at various insurance companies, including Pioneer Insurance, Stanton Insurance, and then retiring from Eastern Mutual Insurance Company. Marie was a member of the Westerlo Reformed Church and Ladies Aid, the Helderberg Hilltoppers Camping Club, and the Rensselaerville Seniors. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Marie is survived by her husband, Ronald J. Bryan; her daughter, Stephanie (Edgar) Tapia; her grandchildren, Jack and Emma Tapia; her brother, Dennis (Susan) Fancher; her in-laws, Lawrence (Marion) Bryan, William (Shirley) Bryan, and Eldeen (James) Gifford; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday July 6th from 1to 3pm at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, NY 12083, followed by a funeral service at 3pm. She will then be laid to rest at Westerlo Rural Cemetery.
