Obituary of Victoria L. O'Donnell

GREENVILLE - Victoria Lee O’Donnell, 49, passed away suddenly on Friday May 13, 2016 at home. She was born in Cohoes on November 2, 1966 to William G. Lessard and Mary D. Dinelle. She was raised in Waterford and graduated from Shenendehowa High School. Vickie worked for NYS State, and after attending Hudson Valley Community College, she became a paramedic, working for Greene County EMS, Greenport Rescue and Greenville Rescue Squad. She also worked for a suicide hotline, as well as at the Palace Theatre. Vickie was active in cancer support groups and in pet adoptions. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Greenville and Norton Hill. She was an animal lover, rescued many pets, and loved reading and studying history. Vickie is predeceased by her son Marc Fraim and her granddaughter Serenity Fraim. In addition to her parents, Vickie is survived by her husband, William A. O’Donnell; her children, Justin Fraim, Kara (Michael) Woodson, Joseph O’Donnell, and Christopher O’Donnell; her grandchildren, Madison, Brooklynn, Gianna, Lola, Jacob, and Ariya Belle; her daughter-in-law, Erin Palmer Shaw; her siblings, Valerie Grugan and William Lessard; her aunt, Pat (John) Dahoda; her niece, Lauryn Grugan; and her nephew, Colin Barth. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday May 18, 2016 from 4 to 8pm at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, NY 12083. A funeral service will be held on Thursday May 19th at 11am at the United Methodist Church of Greenville and Norton Hill, 5830 State Route 81, Greenville, followed by burial in the Greenville Cemetery.
