It has been over a year that you've been gone.
I am not sure why I never wrote anything on this page. Probably because I had Reverend Will say what I would have wrote at your service.
It seems like yesterday that you died in my arms.
I miss you everyday and I will continue to miss you for the rest of my life.
You were the best friend I have ever had. You made me laugh, you helped my so much when my Mom passed and you made my life at the store so much easier and so much more pleasant. Our friendship was like no other and I will be forever grateful for that

To my dear friend Greg, thank you for being my friend. I am so glad that you were a part of my life. You were a friend to all and we will truly miss you. You were one of the few people to welcome us to Greenville after moving here alittle over 11 years ago. You extended your hand and gave us your smile and the words you expressed on us being "newbies" made us feel like we had chosen a good place to live. From then till now you have always been there to uplift one when they were down with that wit that only you possessed and our grand-daughters loved seeing "Mr. Greg" whenever they did their shopping at Just A Buck along with "Miss Jacxie". You were a fixture in this community and will be greatly missed not only by us, but by so many. Your work on this earth is done....Rest in Peace. Fondly, Kevin & Karen

There are no words to express how deeply we feel Greg's loss. He was such a big part of our family for so many years. He took such wonderful care of my parents when they moved to Freehold many years ago. His friendship was so very important to them both. Greg was a wonderful man....with a heart of gold. We will miss him terribly. RIP our dear friend.

Greg,... It feels like I've known you forever,.. working side by side at Rainbow, chatting with you at the bizillion places you have worked - you were always a hard worker, never idle, always willing to help out. You were not a man of many words but what you did say... usually made me bust out in laughter. Great comebacks, quick wit! I know you were greated by many on your entry to Heaven. Carl Birmann had to be at the front of the line... sitting in his Barber's Chair :) You will be missed.. and you will always be remembered

Greg was someone who had a no nonsense view on life. He believed in hard work and never complained. I admired him for it. I could always count on him to bring me back to reality if i was overreacting about something. I will miss his witty comebacks, he could always make me laugh, even when i was having a horrible day- that is a true talent. I looked forward to seeing him, and talking to him. He made my life a little sunnier and I will truly miss him. I send my condolences to his family and friends- he was special.

Greg was someone we all wish we could be. He was quiet for the most part, but expressed his opinions when engaged. He was kind, thoughtful and friendly. He was a hard worker and did his job with the "intent " of doing it well. Everyone can remember the great job he did at Rainbow, at my brothers Hardware Store and at the Dollar Store. He always shared a nice greeting and he always knew just what you wanted and where to find it. He would go out of his way for you. That was the kind of guy he was. We will surely miss him, another hole in our community and our hearts.
