Obituary of Brenda Sue O'Donnell

COEYMANS HOLLOW – Brenda Sue O'Donnell, 58, passed away suddenly on Tuesday March 1, 2016 at her residence. Brenda was born on April 30, 1957 in Plattsburgh to the late George and Mary Lou Rabideau Hoy. She was raised in Dannemora, where she graduated high school and attended Clinton Community College. Brenda lived in the Albany area for many years. She was employed by the IRS in Albany for 35 years, retiring as a field agent about 4 years ago. In addition to her parents, Brenda is predeceased by her sister Sherry Donahue. Brenda is survived by her husband, Gerald J. "Jerry" O'Donnell; her son, Corey John O'Donnell; her sisters, Mary Delisle, Karen Hoy, Lisa Thompson, Jody Marking, Emily Wheeler, and Linda Goslin; her nephew, Michael Hoy; and many other nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Sunday March 6 from 1 to 4 pm at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 9 Main Street, Ravena, followed by a memorial service at 4pm. Brenda has been cremated privately.
