My dearest friend in Albany High School. Met up again at the 50th class reunion along with sweet little Joyce. My heart is broken for the loss of the person so responsible for many crazy funny memories. I know we lost touch in the later years but never lost touch in the heart. Prayers for the family.

I still can't believe I will never again be able to pick up the phone and hear your voice on the other end. I will never get to see your face or hug you tight. I wish so badly for one more I love you, one more hug, and one more visit, but I know one more anything would not be enough. I am not ready for this and I'm not sure if I'll ever be. I don't know if this pain will ever get easier, but I know that everyday until it is my turn to join you I will carry you with me for all of my days. I pray you've found peace and you're free from your pain and sorrows. I pray you've found your way back into the arms of your true love Poppy. I pray Grandma Hope was waiting with open arms as you made your way to heaven and that your sons and all who've been lost before you were there watching as you were fitted for your wings.
I love you Grandma and I am so thankful for the bond we've built as grandmother and granddaughter, but mostly I am so grateful for the friendship we've built. I will see you again... xoxo
Love always,
"Katie ain't no lady"
"i carry your heart with me (i carry it in
my heart) i am never without it (anywhere
i go you go, my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing, my darling)
i fear
no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) i want
no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)"
