I am honored and fortunate that Howard Mahon was my father in law.
Howie will always have my deepest love, admiration and respect, as he was a truly good man.
He was strong but gentle, quiet and caring, and always concerned for his family and friends (and animals).
I especially appreciated his skills and craftsmanship in the way he maintained his home and yard.
I saw clearly, in the love and regard that my wife, Jodi, always had for him, what a good father he was.
Howie's laugh and smile will always be a treasure in my memory.
If I could be half the man that Howard Mahon was, I would be a good man indeed.
