Obituary of Frances M. Williams

RAVENA – Frances M. (Prime) Williams, 79, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, December 10, 2015, with her family at her side. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Henrietta (Pflieger) Prime. Fran was a 1954 graduate of the former Vincentian Institute. She was the owner of The Sandbox Set Nursery School for 27 years before retiring in 2000. Fran was a communicant of the Church of St. Patrick in Ravena for many years. Fran is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, John J. "Boots" Williams and their children, Jay (Linda), Bob (Suzee), Carol (Scott Fansler), Sharon (Marty Thompson), Tom (Sandy), and Michelle (Ken Relation). She is also survived by her brothers, Bill, John (Joan), the late Tom (Peg); eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be offered at the Church of St. Patrick on Tuesday, December 15 at 10 a.m., followed by burial in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
