Obituary of Flossie A. Molter

EAST DURHAM – Flossie A. Molter, 74, passed away after a brief illness on Friday November 13, 2015. She was born on July 13, 1941 to the late Paul and Annetta Dunham Higgins. She was raised in Jewett and graduated from Tannersville High School. She spent a short time in college before she married her husband of 21 years, the late Henry Molter. Flossie enjoyed food and friends, and eating out at various restaurants. She loved animals, especially her cats. Flossie is survived by her daughter, Valerie MacTavish (significant other, Jay Sweet); her grandson, Brian MacTavish (Bridget); her brother, Paul Higgins (Carol); and her ex-brother and sister-in-law, Eric and Roberta Molter. She was predeceased by her parents and ex-husband. Flossie has been privately cremated. Calling hours will be held on Saturday November 21, 2015 from 2 to 4pm at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, NY 12083.
