Obituary of Virginia Van Tassel

EAST DURHAM - Virginia Van Tassel, 83, passed away peacefully at her home on Rt 145 in East Durham on Friday November 6, 2015. She was born on May 5, 1932 in Greenville to the late Felix and Sophie Soltys Stronczek. She was the wife of the late Gerald Van Tassel and mother of the late Sherry Van Tassel. She is survived by her sons, Gary and Terry and his wife Patti; grandchildren, John, Jessica, and Jackie Van Tassel, Trista and her husband Joseph DiNovo; great-grandchildren, Skyler Van Tassel, Kiara Dugan, and Jameson DiNovo. Calling hours will be on Monday November 9, 2015 from 4 to 8pm at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville, NY 12083. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday November 10th at 11am at the funeral home with burial to follow in Winston Cemetery in East Durham.
