Obituary of Joseph G. Heines

Joseph George Heines, 78, of Cornwallville passed away Saturday morning October 10, 2015 at Kaaterskill Care Rehabilitation after 3 month long courageous battle for his life. He was born on October 19, 1936 in Middle Village, NY to the late Joseph and Pearl Heines. Joseph married his true love, Sally Hamel Heines, on October 25, 1958. Joseph and Sally lived with their family in Valley Stream, NY from 1963 until 1994 when they fulfilled their lifelong dream of moving to the country. Joseph retired from NYRA in 1993 after 23 years of service. In addition to his parents, he predeceased by his daughter Kim Heines on June 12, 2015. Joseph is survived by his wife Sally Heines; sons, Timothy Heines and Dennis Heines; and three adoring granddaughters, Noelle Marie Heines, Meadow Elizabeth Heines, and Aaylla Charlotte Heines. Joseph was a loyal and devoted husband, a caring and loving father, and a beloved grandfather. He loved his granddaughters. They were his life and he would have done anything for them. He was their "Pop". Forever loved, gone but never forgotten, we will love you forever. Services were conducted privately.
