Obituary of Kathryn G. Wagoner
DELMAR - Kathryn G. Wagoner, 81, passed away on Monday October 12, 2015. She was born on July 27, 1934 in Westerlo, where she was also raised, to the late Raymond and Mabel Somers Gossman. She went to Berne-Knox schools and graduated from Berne Knox Westerlo School. She loved to travel and go camping with her husband, the late Olin Wagoner. Kathryn enjoyed gardening and was a volunteer at the meal site at Hiawatha Grange in Dormansville, was a member of the Ladies Aid of the Westerlo Reformed Church, and was a member of the Senior Citizens in Medusa and in Berne. Kathryn was a caregiver all her life for family members and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her siblings, Marian Mead Anders and Elting "Bill" Gossman.
Kathryn is survived by her son, Dean (Mariann) Wagoner; grandchildren, Joyce (Donald) Krygier and Dennis (Jessie) Westfall; and great-grandchildren, Cailyn and Ethan Krygier and Ella Westfall.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday October 18, 2015 at 2pm at the South Berne Cemetery, Church Rd, South Berne, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Westerlo Reformed Church, PO Box 70, Westerlo, NY 12193. Condolences can be posted at ajcunninghamfh.com.
