Obituary of Virginia Field

HANNACROIX - Virginia Field, 78 years, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on Thursday, June 3, 2010. She was born in Plattsburgh on July 20, 1931, and was raised there. Virginia has been a resident of Hannacroix for over 40 years. She was a lifelong homemaker and was a member of the Grapeville Baptist Church. Surviving is her beloved husband of over 40 years, Lester Field of Hannacroix and a brother, Gerald La Piere of Plattsburgh. Friends may call at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 Route 81, Greenville, on Saturday, June 5 from 12 noon until the service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Chestnut Lawn Cemetery, New Baltimore.
